FulGaz HD Cycling Videos: Ride the World’s Best Routes

Col de Marie Blanque

Pyrénées-Atlantiques, France

About the ride

A scenic road used many times by the Tour de France, the Col de Marie Blanque isn't as famous as some of the climbs in the Pyrenees, but it's much steeper than your average climb in the region. This ride starts off quite gently, then gradually ramps up until the main climb begins. Once it does, it’s one of those “if you can get up this, you can get up anything” type of climbs.

Training suggestions

You'll need really low gears for this climb. If you haven't got gears that are low enough, consider lying about your weight for this ride. Just like in the real world, losing a few pounds in FulGaz can make quite a big difference.
